The High Plains Division of the American Cancer Society is proud to offer up to $1,000 academic or vocational trade school scholarships to selected applicants with funds made available through American Cancer Society fund raising activities.
Childhood Cancer Survivor Scholarship Funds offer support for students who have survived any type of cancer during their childhood. Each application will be evaluated based upon an essay, financial need, and GPA.
Due to limited resources, the American Cancer Society may not be able to award scholarships to all cancer survivors who apply. While we do not guarantee their scholarship will be renewed, applicants who received a scholarship last year can reapply each year.
The scholarship application form is not posted online. Interested students should contact Phyllis Caron at Phyllis.Caron@cancer.org or call (512) 919-1910 to request the application packet. Be sure to include your name and the best daytime phone number to reach you.
