Manager of the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge Marshfield (Wisconsin)

As manager of an American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, Joleen Specht strives to make Hope Lodge the easiest part of the cancer journey for cancer patients and their caregivers. She is responsible for the administration and running of the Hope Lodge Marshfield in Wisconsin, including making sure the guests have everything they need, from a clean room to laundry facilities to a shoulder to cry on.

Before joining the American Cancer Society, she and her husband owned Eldercare facilities across central Wisconsin for 17 years. She is a Certified House Professional with the National Association of Hospital Hospitality Houses.
