Rebecca Siegel is the lead author of the annual Cancer Statistics article published in CA: A Cancer Journal for Clinicians, as well as the annual Cancer Facts & Figures report and the triennial Colorectal Cancer Facts & Figures and Cancer Facts & Figures for Hispanics/Latinos. In addition to managing the production of all Surveillance Research service publications, she conducts and collaborates on research focused on cancer disparities, with particular emphasis on colorectal cancer. Rebecca also serves as a reviewer for several cancer journals and as a member of committees related to cancer surveillance.
Rebecca received a Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics from the University of Georgia, and a Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology from the Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University.
