Based in Plymouth, Massachusetts, PartyLite is the world’s largest direct-seller of home ambience products, including candles, home accents, and spa and home fragrance products. In 1998, the American Cancer Society became PartyLite’s charity of focus. Over the past 10 years, PartyLite’s independent sales consultants and company employees have raised more than $10 million in support of the Society.
In true grassroots fashion, PartyLite fundraisers may be as small as a backyard sale or as large as a conference of thousands of company consultants. The company’s consultants in every state hold bake sales, raffles, and donation drives. In addition, the unique PartyLite Change the World program invites home party customers to round up their purchase price to the nearest dollar – or up to $10 – with the difference going to the American Cancer Society.
PartyLite expanded their support of the Society by participating in the Relay For Life National Corporate Team Program. This past year, just their second year of participation in this national program, they ranked fourth, with 426 teams, bringing in $506,000.
