The Employer Initiative created the "Corporate IMPACT Award" to recognize those companies that have raised at least one million dollars or more during the previous calendar year of record. These funds are raised through a variety of channels such as workplace giving, corporate philanthropy, cause marketing, corporate promotions, event sponsorship and team fundraising.
In 2006 the Society honored 10 corporations at its annual meeting with its inaugural Corporate IMPACT Award. In 2007, the number of companies that received the award increased to 15.
On behalf of the American Cancer Society's more than three million volunteers and staff nationwide, the American Cancer Society's Executive Leadership extends its heartfelt congratulations to the 2007 Corporate IMPACT Award winners!
