Since 1995, HSBC – North America has included the American Cancer Society in its United for Hope employee workplace campaign. Last year, employees pledged nearly $1 million to the American Cancer Society, making HSBC's campaign among the top corporate employee workplace campaigns benefiting the Society. HSBC employees from across the nation have also supported local American Cancer Society events. Through United for Hope and their human resources department, employees receive information year-round on the American Cancer Society's efforts to prevent cancer and eliminate it as a life-threatening disease.
