Pfizer, Inc.'s, primary engagement with the American Cancer Society has been through the Pfizer Foundation's founding and continuing support of the American Cancer Society University (ACSU), which trains leaders of community based cancer and tobacco control organizations across the globe. Pfizer regional offices in China and Latin America have also supported these efforts, as well as new programs to build capacity in advocacy for tobacco control and early detection. In addition to their work abroad, Pfizer had also sponsored a nationwide campaign that focused on increasing colorectal cancer awareness and screening, as well as support for patient navigation programs and educational trainings at the local level.
