The American Cancer Society, Ohio Division wishes to fund grantees in order to increase availability of transportation for cancer patients to medical and/or treatment appointments. Grants will be awarded to local organizations with existing transportation programs, so that their programs may be expanded to provide free transportation to cancer patients.

To qualify for a Transportation Grant from the American Cancer Society, Ohio Division, a prospective grantee in the United States must be either a tax-exempt organization or an organization seeking support for a project that would qualify as educational or charitable.

This grant program is competitive. A limited number of grants are available. Proposals are reviewed by a committee and scoring is based on criteria outlined in the application.
