When you have had a lumpectomy or mastectomy and hair loss,
your body image has undergone a major change. For some, this is a very
tough time and these changes can be hard to get used to. Some of the
companies listed in this document have products that can help you
regain a sense of yourself -- whether it is wearing an attractive
turban or finding a comfortable breast form that looks natural and
feels secure.
When your doctor says you are ready, you should be fitted with
the breast form (prosthesis) suited to you. Reach to Recovery®
suggests and encourages each woman to wear the bra that she finds most
comfortable. The most expensive prosthesis is not necessarily the best.

Loving Care) is an American Cancer Society publication, a
combination of magazine and catalog. This "magalog," provides special
