Kathleen L. Smades is the Director of Estate Planning for Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Citrus, Hernando, Polk counties and the Western area of the North Region of the Florida Division of the American Cancer Society. Kathleen received her BA from Michigan State University and her JD and LL.M in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law. Prior to joining the American Cancer Society, Florida Division, Kathleen previously worked as an associate in two large South Florida law firms concentrating her practice in domestic and international estate planning, charitable giving, representation of not-for-profit entities and estate, trust and guardianship administration.
