The bus arrived at the American Cancer Society's national office in Atlanta, Georgia on May 14.
Adding their signatures were cancer survivor Kim D'Onofrio (left), Society CEO John R. Seffrin, Ph.D. (below), and ACS staff members (bottom).
Officials in Polk County, Georgia, insured the bus would stop there by issuing a tongue-in-cheek citation.
An Orangeburg, South Carolina, cancer patient took his IV outdoors to sign the bus.

Several cancer survivors hopped on the bus outside city limits (above) and rode in to Hampton, South Carolina, where they were honored guests
at a reception. The reigning "Mrs. Summerville, South Carolina" adds her signature. (below left)
