This glimpse of San Francisco preceded a stop at Fisherman's Wharf where
1,000 signatures were collected and NBC Affiliate KRON provided media coverage.
At the Sonoma City Hall in California's wine country crowds turned out to show support
for the work of the American Cancer Society. And in nearby Napa County,
white doves were released over the Celebration bus (pictures to come).
The bus visited the California State Capitol in Sacramento.
The mayor of Visalia adds to the thousands of signatures.
Folk dancers were part of a bilingual reception for the bus in Imperial
City, California, on July 12.
