| Cancer Researchers Convene in Chicago for ASCO's Annual Meeting | |

More than 4,000 abstracts will be presented on a range of topics, with special sessions on the latest in breast cancer research and genetics. ASCO's Annual Meeting is one of the largest cancer-related conferences in the country, and over 30,000 attendees are expected this year. Previous years have seen major announcements, including 2005's breakthrough discovery that Herceptin is effective in treating early-stage breast cancer patients.
