Since beginning publication in 1950, CA: A Cancer Journal for Clinicians has served as the flagship journal for the
American Cancer Society, providing a peer-reviewed publication containing solicited review articles of interest to oncologists,
primary care physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals interested in best practices for cancer prevention, early detection,
and treatment. Published six times per year, CA is the most
widely circulated oncology journal in the world. In 2008, CA had the #1-ranked impact factor in the category of oncology as reported by the ISI Journal Citation Reports.
