Mr. John HoffmanCleveland Hope Lodge Celebrates its 4,000th New Patient

On September 17, the Cleveland Hope Lodge celebrated welcoming its 4,000th new patient, Mr. John Hoffman. John was greeted by fellow Hope Lodge guests as well as volunteers and staff. He was presented with gifts from the American Cancer Society. John currently resides in Northeast, PA. His journey through treatment will be featured in the next Cleveland Hope Lodge newsletter.

This milestone of the Cleveland Hope Lodge represents nearly 12,000 patients visits with 14,000 caregivers and over 132,000 nights of occupancy since opening its doors in 1995. The geographic reach of the Cleveland Hope Lodge has served 86 of 88 Ohio counties, 42 states, and 20 countries. This represents a savings to the guests of approximately $24 million in housing alone. This does not include gas, parking, home-cooked meals and the priceless support. It is everyone's hard work in the American Cancer Society that allows the Hope Lodges to serve folks like John.

Thank You!
