Keynote Speaker: Rev. Jesse Jackson

Cancer disparities are faced by many in our society, but are particularly evident in ethnic and racial minorities and citizens with lower incomes. The challenge is to identify the underlying causes, engage and involve underserved populations, and conduct activities that will reduce cancer incidence and mortality. This biannual conference seeks to describe successful, sustainable models for eliminating cancer disparities by bridging the divide in prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes that currently exists between many groups in our country.
