Welcome to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge of Central Pennsylvania, Hershey, PA

At the Hope Lodge of Central Pennsylvania, we understand that undergoing treatment for cancer can be both financially and emotionally overwhelming. For some, treatment at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center provides the greatest hope, but requires that they be far from home, adding the additional burden of travel and lodging expenses. That is why the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge of Central Pennsylvania offers lodging at no cost for cancer patients being treated in the central Pennsylvania area.

Having cancer is hard. Finding help shouldn't be.

Getting emotional and social support from other survivors can be as important as getting the proper medical care. At the Hope Lodge, patients live with other people going through similar experiences, and are supported by caring staff and volunteers. The nurturing, comfortable environment at Hope Lodge allows patients to focus on what is most important - fighting cancer.
