Finish the Fight Together We Can End Cancer

Making an Impact, Thanks to our Millions of Volunteers

100 years ago, the American Cancer Society began the fight of a lifetime. Today, we’ve touched the lives of countless patients and caregivers, and inspired millions of volunteers to join us. And while none of them are exactly alike, they’re all linked together by the progress we’ve made.

Watch as four volunteers, Michele Brodtman, Mallory Davidson, Katrina Williams, and Bruce Newell, share their own inspiring stories of fighting back against cancer. And although their stories are personal, each of their efforts ultimately impacted the journey of another.

“We’re fighting every cancer, in every community, every single day,”proclaims Dr. John Seffrin, CEO of the American Cancer Society. “No one is doing more than we are to end this disease.”

We are who we are because of our volunteers. We are where we are because of our volunteers. We will finish the fight because of our volunteers.

Thanks to our millions of volunteers across the globe who are making noise to help us create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.

Will You Take a Moment AGAINST Silence?

Yes, I pledge to help the American Cancer Society finish the fight against cancer by taking a Moment AGAINST Silence. Cancer thrives on silence. That’s why I’m making noise by taking action now.

1. Choose a Pledge

Hearst Magazines will donate $1 for every pledge *

I will make a donation to help save lives.

Help Find the Next Breakthrough

I will learn more about enrolling in the Society’s Cancer Prevention Study-3 to find better ways to prevent cancer.

Make Healthy Choices

I will exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet, avoid tobacco, and get my cancer screenings.

2. Make Your Commitment

You'll receive updates on actions you can take this year to get loud and help the American Cancer Society finish the fight against cancer. You can unsubscribe at any time.

*For every pledge made, Hearst Magazines will donate $1 to the American Cancer Society, up to $50,000 total.

My dream as a cancer survivor is that each of us have a lifetime to achieve our dreams. It is time to #finishthefight
