The American Cancer Society, and not the sponsors, is solely responsible for the content of the Great American Health Check.

The Great American Health Check is not a comprehensive survey of your health or a substitute for a consultation with your doctor. Instead, it's a way to start a conversation with your doctor. Ask your doctor about all aspects of your health.

Since cancer is a disease that affects individuals as they get older, the American Cancer Society does not have specific early detection guidelines for individuals younger than 20. However, people of any age should be sure to ask their doctors about general health and wellness advice, for advice on opportunities to protect themselves against other diseases by prevention and early detection, and for advice on any symptoms that concern them.
