Daffodils grow and support the fight against cancer this spring with The American Cancer Society Daffodil Days® Hope By The Bunch™ campaign powered by 1800FLOWERS.COM, Inc.
This spring, an unsuspecting tool in the fight against cancer returns: daffodils. Daffodils are a universal symbol of hope and life, and they’re at the center of the American Cancer Society’s Daffodil Days Hope By The Bunch campaign powered by 1800FLOWERS.COM. The campaign will deliver thousands of yellow flowers across the country businesses, schools, organizations, Hope Lodge facilities, and other locations to raise awareness and funds for the fight against cancer.
By teaming up with 1800FLOWERS.COM, Inc., the American Cancer Society has put a new spin on the longtime spring fundraiser, allowing the order and delivery of the flowers throughout the continental US. Local schools, businesses, and organizations are encouraged to place group orders online starting November 9, 2015 through January 29, 2016, for delivery between March 1 and March 11, 2016. Daffodils will be available for $14 per bunch, with a minimum order of 10 bunches required. Anyone can become a campaign coordinator by visiting 1800flowerscom/hope to find campaign resources, including a guidebook, order form, and poster.
There is no need to register on the site; simply visit the page, download what you need, and return to the same page when you are ready to place your bulk order. You may also place your order via the toll-free number (1-844-346-7010) or by mail.
The Daffodil Days Hope By The Bunch campaign coincides with the arrival of spring and colorectal cancer awareness month. The fundraiser will not only provide cheer and hope to the recipients of the flowers, but will also serve as a reminder of the power of early detection when combating preventable cancers like colorectal cancer. The net proceeds of the campaign will support the American Cancer Society’s efforts to finish the fight against cancer through life-saving research and life-changing programs for patients and their families.
