"Women’s Health 1st” Golf Days

The American Cancer Society, the LPGA Teaching and Club Professionals Division and the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA) invite women to participate in the 2013 “Women’s Health 1st” Golf Days celebration of the health benefits of playing golf.

"Women’s Health 1st” Golf Days are a series of charity golf events benefiting the American Cancer Society, the LPGA Teaching and Club Professionals Division and the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA) Foundation.

This movement will create awareness about how a healthier lifestyle can help reduce the risk of getting many cancers and how playing the game of golf can contribute to a healthier lifestyle.

Charity golf events will be held beginning in March through the end of July 2013 at participating golf facilities nationwide.

The program may include a continental breakfast, light lunch or social hour and does include an American Cancer Society health and wellness presentation.

There will be various golf activities which may include; clinics by LPGA Professionals and 9 or 18-hole opportunities.
