You Can Volunteer for Camp UKANDU

American Cancer Society Camp UKANDU is run entirely by volunteers, from its Board of Directors, to the camp staff, nurses, and physicians.

For those interested in becoming an American Cancer Society Camp UKANDU volunteer, expect a rewarding, challenging, and "outrageously fun" experience!

Positions range from cabin counselor, to special activity staff, to Board member. A counselor in training (CIT) program also exists, designed for former campers.

All volunteers undergo interviewing and training, as well as thorough background checks before attending our camp.
