Harold L Bloch Cancer Resource Center
Who We Are
The Harold L. Bloch Cancer Resource Center was founded in honor of Harold L. Bloch after his diagnosis of lung cancer. His family found it difficult, confusing and overwhelming to sort through the extensive materials about cancer. After Mr. Bloch’s death his family initiated the process to establish a resource center in honor of their husband and father.
The American Cancer Society and The Harold L. Bloch Cancer Resource Center (HLBCRC) originally joined together in September of 2005 to provide comprehensive services for those affected by cancer. The HLB Cancer Resource Center is now located inside HopeClub at One Penny Lane in Latham.
