Triumph Circle: Launch a Researcher
Triumph Circle | Launch a Researcher
When a new idea is conceived, the American Cancer Society provides the initial funds for research. American Cancer Society-funded researchers such as Dr. Bing Xia of the Cancer Institute of New Jersey are decoding genetic clues to breast and other types of cancer. By funding researchers early in their careers, the American Cancer Society has launched scientists—including 44 Nobel Prize winners—who went on to make breakthrough discoveries. In fact, Society-funded researchers have contributed to every major cancer research breakthrough. Our researchers are at work in leading institutions such as New York University, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, the University of Rochester, and Roswell Park Cancer Center. While the Society is the nation's largest private, not-for-profit source of research grants, we are only able to fund a fraction of the promising projects that come our way. Your gift to the Triumph Circle can help fund research toward finding cures in our lifetime.
