Childhood Cancer Program
Families Can*Sur*Vive - November 14-16
Children treated for cancer experience a reality that only they can fully understand. Their insight, hopes and fears - and very often, their beyond-their-years maturity - when shared with children of similar experience, can become a source of mutual strength and individual growth. American Cancer Society Hawaii Pacific, Inc.'s Families Can*Sur*Vive is a three day family conference on Oahu for children with cancer, their parents, and siblings. Now in its seventh year, this family retreat provides an interactive opportunity for participants to discover their own individual and family strengths while encouraging trust, open communication, and problem-solving skills. There is no charge for children and families who are Hawaii residents.
