Look Good..Feel Better

A free program designed to help women undergoing cancer treatment learn to cope with the appearance related side effects of treatment and regain a sense of self-confidence and control over their lives.

How You Can Help:

Volunteers to assist with patient recruitment, promotion of the program, session assistance. We also need volunteer Cosmetologists to instruct patients in skin care, makeup, wigs, and scarves.
 
Tell A Friend

Women from the local community spreading the word about the importance of regular mammograms to women over 40 years of age.

How You Can Help:

Volunteers to attend training, visit business organizations and community organizations to promote mammography, follow up with phone calls to make sure women received their mammograms.
 
Reach to Recovery

Breast Cancer Survivors reach out to newly diagnosed breast cancer patients to provide information, guidance and support.

How You Can Help:


Breast Cancer Survivors to attend training, visit new patients, and help promote the program.
 
Man to Man

An education and support group for men and their families coping with prostate cancer.How You Can Help:

Volunteer Coordinator to facilitate the program, assist in promotion and planning, including arranging for speakers for each session.

How You Can Help:

Volunteers to assist the coordinator, and help promote the program to the community.

Tobacco Prevention and Cessation

Participate in a tobacco coalition, cessation programs, and promoting tobacco education to schools and the community.

How You Can Help:

Facilitators to attend training on Fresh Start Tobacco Cessation Program and facilitate classes for the community.

Volunteers to assist in implementation of tobacco coalition, cessation programs, creating tobacco education materials for businesses and educating youth.

Office Assistance

Do you have a couple hours per day, week or month available to help? We need volunteers to help with:
 
    * Answering Phones
    * Filing
    * Records
    * Mailings

Fundraising Efforts

We need volunteers to help with our fundraising events:

    * Relay for Life
    * Annual Golf Tournament
    * Strides for a Cure 5K
