Alabama Company Takes Part in American Cancer Society Research

Nucor Steel Corporation made history this fall by becoming the first company in the country to host a Cancer Prevention Study-3 enrollment site, opening it up to the community at large. The Decatur, Alabama plant held the event in late October at a community center. Nucor is a great supporter of the American Cancer Society and its fundraisers like Relay For Life.

“We all have the same goal in the fight against cancer…to find a cure,” said Jean Godsey, Nucor Traffic Facilitator. “The CPS-3 study is a stepping stone in reaching our goal.”
