New Mid-South Research Grants Announced

The American Cancer Society recently awarded several new extramural research grants across the Mid-South Division that took effect July 1, 2011.  These grants bring the total funding of cancer research in Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee by the organization to more than $27 million.

Arkansas

  • Dr. Gang Chen at the University of Kentucky
  • Edith Crumb at the University of Louisville
  • Teresa Cunningham at the Hospice of the Bluegrass
  • Dr. Ayman El-Baz at University of Louisville
  • Ellen Green at Hosparus, Inc.

Tennessee
