Asha P. Menon, BA
Executive Assistant, Behavioral Research Center
Ms. Menon is the primary contact person for the ACS Behavioral Research Center (BRC). The scope of her responsibilities cut across all departmental activities, including managing the administrative and fiscal operations for the Center, overseeing the organization and planning for departmental events and meetings; and working with BRC Directors and Research Analysts to prepare scientific presentations and reports. In addition, Ms. Menon acts as the primary liaison with other ACS departments and staff. She also provides support for major research and scientific initiatives, such as the biennial Cancer Survivorship Research Conference, which has been sponsored by the Behavioral Research Center since 2002.
Ms. Menon received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Emory University and has been with the Society for 13 years. Prior to her work at the ACS, she worked with autistic children at the Walden Early Childhood Program, part of the Emory University School of Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry.
