Lauren Teras, PhD
Dr. Teras earned her B.A. in Social Science from the University of Michigan in 1997, followed by a master’s (2000) and doctoral (2010) degree in Epidemiology from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. Dr. Teras first joined the Epidemiology Research Program at the American Cancer Society as a research analyst in 2000, and then rejoined the group as a Senior Epidemiologist following her doctoral work in 2010.
Dr. Teras is a cancer epidemiologist whose research interests include risk factors for lymphoid cancers and the impact of weight change and obesity on cancer risk.
