Peer Review Committee for Cancer Control and Prevention: Psychosocial and Behavioral Aspects of Cancer Research (CPPB)

Areas reviewed: Behavior change including smoking cessation, dietary change, exercise change; prevention through prevention of smoking, exercise, healthy eating and sun avoidance; methods of coping with illness; Complementary and Alternative Medicine; screening behavior, strategies to increase screening; QoL, and adaptation of people with cancer and their families. Also, psychosocial and behavioral aspects and methods for reducing disparities among the poor and underserved.
