Our Researchers


The International Tobacco Control Research Program (within the American Cancer Society’s Research) conducts, analyzes, and publishes original research on tobacco control, particularly focusing on tobacco taxes and trade issues. The group consists of 6 full-time staff members including 3 doctoral-level and 2 masters-level personnel.

The International Tobacco Control Research Program works closely with the Global Health Department to support its efforts in global tobacco control, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
