Program Details

Camp Kesem provides a free week of overnight summer camp to kids ages 6-16 who have a parent affected by cancer. This unique camp offers a fun, safe and supportive environment that allows children to form bonds with peers who share similar experiences. At Camp Kesem the focus is on having fun and they aim to give children the best experience possible. They are given the chance to have a fun, carefree week away from the challenges at home and to simply be kids. Camps range from 4-7 days depending on the chapter. Camps are held in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia (DC), Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.
