American Cancer Society B. Thomas Golisano Hope Lodge Hospitality House: lodging for adult patients and caregivers (no one under age 18) receiving active cancer treatment, chemotherapy, radiation or surgery in Monroe County, NEW YORK. Adult family members are welcome to stay at Hope Lodge when the adult patient is in the hospital. Must reside outside of Monroe County. Capacity 30 rooms.  Social worker must fax over completed referral form to start reservation process. This lodge also accommodates non cancer patients through a special collaboration with the University of Rochester Medical Center. Guests must be able to care for themselves or be accompanied by a companion who can. Guests and companions must be free of communicable diseases. Will be accommodated regardless of race, creed, gender, color, ethnic background, or sexual orientation.

Cost / Fees:Free for cancer patients and caregivers. $37.50 per night for non-cancer patients.
Eligibility:Lodging for adult patients and caregivers (no one under age 18) receiving active cancer treatment, chemotherapy, radiation or surgery in Monroe County, NEW YORK. Adult family members are welcome to stay at Hope Lodge when the adult patient is in the hospital. Must reside outside of this county. Patient must have their social worker fax over a completed referral form before reservation will be made. A fax referral does not guarantee a reservation. Only service animals are allowed to stay with their owners at Hope Lodge. Personal pets are not allowed. If you plan on traveling with a service animal, please let Hope Lodge staff know at the time of the reservation.

Lodge hours open 24/7.  Facility is handicapped accessible but has stairs to some rooms.   Can call Hope Lodge guests via phones in rooms. For inbound calls, call 585-224-4900, room extension is 6 + 3-digit guest room number. Outbound calls - no long distance, local calls only (unless approved by staff).
