“I am a young mother of three children fighting a rare bone cancer called ewing sarcoma. I could not fight this cancer without the American Cancer Society’s Winn-Dixie Hope Lodge. They have provided me with a clean, comfortable place to stay during my treatments. The staff is very loving and caring and is always there when I need them. I find myself looking forward to staying at the Lodge. They have beautiful gardens and activities, dinners and Look Good… Feel Better programs. Because of the Hope Lodge, I’ve made many friends going through similar situations and we helped each other. I am so grateful to the Hope Lodge for being here for me and helping me through all the radiation and chemo. They are my home away from home.”
