Understanding the Global Cancer Burden
Cancer knows no geographical borders and is the second
leading cause of death worldwide. Internationally, deaths each year from cancer greatly outnumber deaths from HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria combined. By 2040, the global cancer burden is expected to increase to 29.5 million new cases and 16.4 million deaths annually.

Kenya Hope Hostel
The American Cancer Society is partnering with the Kenyatta National Hospital to build a 156-bed Hope Hostel, with plans to break ground in 2020.
