Peter Labombarde, CFSC

Peter M. Labombarde is the Director of Estate and Gift Planning for the American Cancer Society in Northern New England (Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont).  Prior to joining the American Cancer Society, Peter was Senior Wealth Management Officer for People's United Bank in Manchester, New Hampshire.  Peter has over 25 years of experience as a Trust Officer, working with individuals and families to meet their investment, estate planning and charitable giving goals, and partnering with their legal and tax advisors to provide integrated solutions to their planning needs.
 
Peter received his BA from Colby College in Waterville, Maine, and Master’s degrees from Cornell University and Florida State University.  He graduated with honors from the American Bankers' Association National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University, earning the Certified Financial Services (CFSC) designation.  He is a member of the Planned Giving Group of New England, the New Hampshire Estate Planning Council and the Queen City Rotary Club.
 
Peter has also been for many years a dedicated volunteer for the American Cancer Society, receiving the Singer Family Financial Stewardship Award in 2002 and the Saint George National Volunteer Medal in 2009.  He served as Treasurer and Chair of the former New Hampshire Division and as Treasurer of the New England Division.
A longtime community volunteer, Peter is Chair of  the Council on Fundraising (CONFR) in Concord NH and served as Moderator of the Congregational Church of Amherst NH, United Church of Christ.  He is a member of the boards of St. Joseph Community Services and the Huntington at Nashua.
Peter lives with his wife Irene and their three children in Bedford, New Hampshire.
