Light the Capitol Pink
South Dakota State Capitol, Pierre
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the American Cancer Society is Lighting the Capitol Pink to draw attention to breast cancer awareness. Every night during October, the State Capitol will glow pink at sundown to celebrate survivors and to remind women of the importance of screening as a way to detect breast cancer.
Ask someone you love to get a mammogram. It could save their life.
Sign up for a mammogram e-reminder from the American Cancer Society. Not only can it help you stay healthy, it can help us light our map of South Dakota pink!
