How to Hold a Fundraising Event for the American Cancer Society in New England

Thank you for volunteering to raise money in support of the American Cancer Society, New England Division. Your efforts will help save lives and create more birthdays, while engaging more people in your community or workplace in the fight against cancer. We appreciate your support!

Before you start planning a new event, you might consider joining an existing American Cancer Society signature fundraising event. There are more than 250 American Cancer Society Relay For Life events scheduled in communities across New England in 2013, and 26 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks in New England in October. It’s fun and easy to become part of these events, and there are American Cancer Society volunteers and staff available to help you get started.

Getting started with your own event is as easy as 1 – 2 - 3
If you decide to proceed with your own event, please take a few minutes to:

1.    Read our Fundraising Guidelines.
2.    Read the Frequently Asked Questions.
3.    Fill out and submit a Fundraising Registration Form. Your American Cancer Society liaison will contact you within five business days to complete the approval process.
