Fight Back with Research at Relay
Enrolling in CPS-3 is the single most important thing you can do in the fight against cancer!
A number of 2013 Relay For Life events in Massachusetts and Connecticut are serving as enrollment sites for the American Cancer Society's Cancer Prevention Study 3 (CPS-3).
There is no need to enroll prior to the event or even be a registered Relay participant. Simply show up at one of the Relays below and look for the CPS-3 tent. The list of Relay enrollment sites is at the bottom of this page, and exact enrollment dates & times for each will be posted here soon.
There is a roll for everyone to get involved with CPS-3 at these Relays. You can:
• ENROLL! Individuals who are willing to commit to the study long term, are between the ages of 30 – 65, and who have never been diagnosed with cancer (other than squamous and basal cell skin cancers), can enroll at our event!
• PROMOTE! Tell everyone you know about this one-time, historic opportunity to make a difference in the fight against cancer. Many of us know the feeling of standing by helplessly when someone we love has cancer. This is our chance to do something abou tit. We can make a difference for our children and grandchildren.
• EDUCATE! Tell friends and family around the country to visit www.cancer.org/cps3NE or call 888-604-5888 to obtain more information about this study and how they can become involved.
Why support CPS-3? Because it is THE ONLY long-term study of its kind in the U.S. today that looks at the genetic, environmental, and lifesyle factors that cause or prevent cancer. And, it will save lives!
