Interning with the Voluntarism department of the American Cancer Society gave me a chance to gain applicable real-world experience with close guidance and was a great jump-start to my career. This internship was unique from others because I was given the opportunity to learn important skills while making a real difference. In fact, I enjoyed my time as an intern so much that I joined the staff full-time after graduation!"
—Lauren Deppe
