Lindsey Torre, MSPH
Epidemiologist, Surveillance Research
Lindsey Torre, MSPH joined the Surveillance Research group at the American Cancer Society as an epidemiologist in 2012. She concentrates on global cancer surveillance. She is the lead author of Global Cancer Facts & Figures, 3rd edition and an editor of The Cancer Atlas, 2nd edition. She also conducts and collaborates on research focused on global cancer control, with particular emphasis on risk factors and disparities.
Ms. Torre received a BS (2004) in International Political Economy from Georgetown University, and an MSPH (2012) in Global Epidemiology from the Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University. Prior to joining the American Cancer Society, she worked in implementation of HIV prevention and reproductive health programs internationally.
