Rebecca Siegel, MPH

Rebecca Siegel is director of surveillance information in the Surveillance and Health Services Research Program. Ms. Siegel received a BS in genetics from the University of Georgia, and an MPH in epidemiology from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. She manages the production of educational publications produced by the Program, and is lead author of the annual Cancer Statistics article published in CA: A Cancer Journal for Clinicians, as well as Cancer Facts & Figures, Colorectal Cancer Facts & Figures, and Cancer Facts & Figures for Hispanics/Latinos. In addition, Ms. Siegel conducts and collaborates on research focused on cancer disparities, with particular emphasis on colorectal cancer. She also serves as a reviewer for several cancer journals and as a member of committees related to cancer surveillance and data use.
