Trina Planchon

Director of Estate and Gift Planning

Trina Planchon works closely with planned giving donors, prospective donors, and professional advisors. Her primary focus is to assist donors and their advisors reach his or her charitable giving goals while supporting the American Cancer Society's mission.

 Trina has most recently worked at The Salvation Army as it’s Donor Relations Director, raising major gifts in Napa, Marin, and Solano counties. She was the Director of Gift Planning at the American Heart Association, serving Northern California. Her work also includes her role as a Planned Giving Officer with Saint Mary’s College of California; Regional Development Officer, and Estate Administrator at University of California, Berkeley. Trina is a certified paralegal with an emphasis on estate planning and probate. She held this position for over five years in local law firms before joining the non-profit world.

Trina’s move to the American Cancer Society embodies her passion to help those in need, those who have struggled with loss, and those who are ready to join the fight to improve and save lives. Cancer has had a devastating toll on her own family losing eleven family members. She is deeply committed and invested in stopping cancer in its tracks.

She enjoys exploring small towns that beckon times of long ago, adding to her collection of vintage furniture and spending time with her family.
