As Senior Associate Scientist of Health Services Research in Surveillance & Health Equity Science (SHES), Jingxuan Zhao, MPH, collaborates with researchers inside and outside of the American Cancer Society (ACS) to conduct research on health insurance coverage and cancer care and outcomes. She provides analytic support for studies and is often lead and corresponding author for research results published in peer-reviewed journals.
In addition to studying health insurance coverage and cancer care and outcomes, Zhao conducts research on financial hardship and the economic burden of cancer.
Recently, her work on the racial/ethnic disparities in lost earnings from cancer deaths in the United States was highlighted by the ASCO Post and the Cancer Letter.
