Judie's most recent role was Senior Director of Gift and Estate Planning where she orchestrated the Planned Giving Program. Prior to joining the Society, Judie assisted with the development of non-profit businesses/programs for churches and community-based organizations and spent several years as an entrepreneur in the retail and manufacturing industries. Judie was also on staff for several years at the District of Columbia's Public Defender Service, where she was Director of the Criminal Practice Institute and Executive Assistant to the Agency's Director.

Fueled by her many passions, she stays active in the development community as a volunteer on several boards and organizations that are designed to improve the lives of children and families through economic participation and holistic social service programs that engage, empower, and transform.

Judie is a graduate of Mount Vernon College at George Washington University where she holds a BA in Special Education, an MBA from George Washington School of Business (GWSB) and a JD from the GWU National Law Center. Judie resides in the Mithchellville-Bowie, Maryland area with her daughter, three great nieces, and her precious grandson.
