Study: ACA and Medicaid Expansion Drops Number of Uninsured and Lowers Disparities in Some States
A study by American Cancer Society researchers was recently published in JAMA Oncology. Researchers found that the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid expansion dropped the number of uninsured patients in all states. States with Medicaid expansion saw access-to-care disparities diminish dramatically.
