Jonelle Billone

Jonelle Billone currently serves as interim chief financial officer for the American Cancer Society. In this role, Jonelle is responsible for leading ACS’ enterprise financial strategy, planning, and operations, ensuring financial reliability, disciplined resource allocation, strong controls, and long-term sustainability in support of the organization’s mission.

Prior to this interim role, Jonelle held the position of senior vice president, financial and strategic planning, and was responsible for leading the team that assesses actual and projected performance through first-class management reporting, diligent analyses, and strategic modeling.

Jonelle began her career with the American Cancer Society as vice president of finance and operations for the former New England Division. During the merger of ACS, Inc., the FP&A team was created under the former Office of the Chief Financial Officer, and Jonelle co-directed the development of the organization-wide department focusing on field services. In addition, Jonelle has also served as acting chief financial officer multiple times throughout her career.

Prior to joining ACS in 2004, Jonelle worked in public accounting at Parent McLaughlin & Nangle, LLP as a tax accountant and then PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in the audit sector, serving clients primarily in the nonprofit industry, including the American Cancer Society.

Jonelle holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from State University of New York College at Oswego.
