Asif Dhar Bio

Dr. Dhar is vice chair and US Life Sciences and Health Care (LSHC) industry leader for Deloitte LLP, leading the overall strategic direction for their US life sciences and health care practices, including audit, consulting, tax, and advisory services. Dr. Dhar helps governmental agencies, life sciences, and health care firms reinvent wellness, solve disease, address pandemics, and tackle health inequities. He is known for his expertise on topics as varied as real-world evidence, regulatory sciences, and digital health. Dr. Dhar helped develop Deloitte’s perspectives on the future of health, founded the Deloitte Health Equity Institute, and established important ecosystem and alliances to drive digital transformation in the LSHC industry. He is passionate about nonprofit work. He has a strong belief that we can end cancer as we know it and change health, so the future is more equitable and sustainable. Dr. Dhar has served on the American Cancer Society Board of Directors since 2022 and serves as chair of the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Sub-Committee.
