The American Cancer Society is pleased to announce the appointment of Louise Santosuosso as Vice President focusing on new growth areas in New England. She took on this new role in January 2021 and reports directly to the Society’s area development leads.

American Cancer Society researcher Dr. Sandra Japuntich is currently investigating the reasons behind low lung cancer screening rates among those eligible at The Miriam Hospital in Providence. Last year, Dr. Japuntich was awarded an American Cancer Society research grant and will continue to conduct her research through 2020.
